A late 19th Century English verge with silver dial in a silver engine turned case. Full plate fusee movement with round pillars. Pierced and engraved round cock, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm steel balance.
Silver engine turned dial with engraved centre, applied gold Roman numerals, gilt hands. Engine turned silver open face case with engine turned middle, maker's mark "WHH" and number corresponding to that on the movement.
