From our collection of Meiji-era metalwork, this stylish Japanese Bronze vase with multi-metal decoration of a flock of Silver Geese with Gold beaks and feet. Shakudo has been used to great effect by the artist to shade and add texture to the wings of the birds. The reverse of the vase is plain monochrome, allowing the birds to shine.
