Late 18th Century Rosewood Lamp Table.

A Very Good Quality Late 18th Century, Sheraton Period, Georgian Occasional Lamp Table, Having Superbly Figured Octagonal Top, With Wide Satinwood Crossbanded Decoration, Over One Drawer And Panelled Slide To Frieze, Raised On Elegant Square Tapering Legs, United By Fine Concave Stretchers With Inlaid Decoration.

This fabulous quality little table is constructed from excellent, rich rosewood timbers, which are backed up by good quality secondary timbers, including mahogany drawer linings and satiwnood cross banding.

It is a great size, perfect for so many different uses around the home, far too many for us to suggest here. Helpfully it has the drawer and a slide below that drawer which really adds to the overall functionality and also allows you to place a lamp, or ornament, or similar on top of it whilst still retaining easy access to the storage space.

It also stands on incredibly elegant and fine square tapering legs, which are united and strengthened by the rather attractive concave cross stretchers. These have real elegance and really add to the piece.

As with all items which we offer for sale this occasional table has been inspected by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers in our workshops and also received a traditional, natural wax polish before being offered for sale.
