Late 18th Century Neoclassical Centrepiece formed from two ends of a Surtout de Table, within a Sheffield plate border, on Lion paw feet.
The centrepiece incorporates two pages
of a Grand Tour Fan, one with the Nozze Aldobrandini
Fresco, now in the Vatican museums, the other with
the Amorini's seller fresco from Stabia, near Naples
and now housed in the Archeologico Nazionale in Naples
itself.
