Large Westerwald Stoneware Jug with Original Pewter Cover,
Third quarter 17th century.

The large Westerwald stoneware jug with pewter cover inscribed " LW over VH".  The jug with a blue ground and multiple raised daisy heads encircling the large jug.  A band of blue encircles the base and a further two thin bands encircle the neck.

Dimensions: Height 10 inches (11 1/4 to top of handle) x 8 inches x 6 1/2 inches. (25.4 cm top of ceramic x 20.32 cm x 16.51 cm)
