A superb Victorian Sterling-Silver model of a seated bejewelled cat, inset with semi-precious stones. Probably made by Neresheimer of Hanau, Germany and imported by EDWIN THOMPSON BRYANT OF LONDON (worked 1890-1907).

Imported objects with this mark were retailed by Tessiers of Bond street, London.
