Large Silver Bouillotte Lamp.

A fine silver bouillotte lamp of large scale, with loop and arrow top, with adjustable shade height, supported on a pedestal base with scrolling arms. Stamped Avanti.
Avanti was founded in 1929 and became a major part of the Italian design movement during the 1960s. Under the leadership of the brothers Diego and Tenzo Phigi many popular designs were produced, with frequent collaborations with award-winning designers.
