Early Heriz carpets from north west Persia are in a class of their own. Prized for their geometric designs, fine durable construction and creative vegetable-dyed colours, they make ideal long lasting rugs. They have always stood out for their aesthetically appealing designs.
This handsome rug has a bold graphic drawing and simpler design in comparison to other examples of its type. A rare feature is the ivory colour of the main border.
