A large Meissen group entitled "Lessons of Love", designed in 1777 by French born Michel Victor Acier, who was employed as "master of models" at the Meissen factory in 1764.  This porcelain group is beautifully modelled and demonstrates Meissen's finest example of painting/decorating produced within the latter half of the 19th century.
