A large Japanese Imari porcelain vase dating around 1700 Lamped with a handcarved and gilted wooden base.
The decoration is quite elaborate with three big shaped panels depicting phoenixes resting on trees amongst peonies and, between the panels, a big double ribbon ending with two bell-shaped tassels.
Perfect conditions, fresh colours, especially the overglaze gold which is usually worn
