Condition report

Evidence of historical worm infestation in areas to the mortar, notably the upper outer rim and raised foot. A small composite filled area located at one side of the socle, probably in the area of a knot now bereft. The pestle with an old shrinkage crack to one end. Other than this minor wear and tear consistent with the age and use of the items.
