An unusual large size (1 litre ,1.75 UK pints) Art Deco Period Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker made by Anton Michelsen of Copenhagen, Denmark in 1932. The shaker is hand made and of excellent quality and has an anchor to the top which suggests it was made for a private boat or perhaps a Naval mess. The size is a fair bit larger than usual as the majority of silver cocktail shakers tend to be of pint capacity. It is in wonderful condition.
