The domed cover of the mirror box decorated with two pigeons perched on the branch of a pine tree, the birds and some ivy leaves of inlaid pottery, the branch and foliage in gold takamakie and hiramakie.
The side of the box has a delicate running frieze of karakusa in hiramakie. Pewter mounts to the rims
