A Kingwood Occasional Table in the Early Louis XV Manner.
Constructed in kingwood, and dressed with fine quality bronze ormolu mounts; rising from swept cabriole legs adorned with ormolu ‘animal paw’ feet, with ormolu masks of the God Pan at the shoulders; the body houses a single oak lined lockable drawer (the original key present), the keyhole sporting an ormolu mask of a grinning Bacchus; the top of square serpentine form, lined with gilt tooled green leather.
