Kershaw Schofield was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire in 1872. A landscape and Still life painter in oils and watercolours, he exhibited widely including work at the Royal Academy, Birmingham City Gallery, The Walker Gallery Liverpool, The Manchester City Gallery as well as at local exhibitions and Galleries.
"The Copse" is an oil painting on panel measuring 12"x 15". It is signed lower right and is framed giving an overall size of 19"x 21".
