An exceptional example of Rothmuller's exotic jewelry designs featuring a stylised octopus with a cabochon sapphire body. Its origins can be traced back to the glories of Minoan art.
This representation of the octopus is one of the most striking examples of the decorative portrayal of this fascinating creature. A similar example is in the collection of The Schmuckmuseum, Pforzheim
