A stunning antique Karabagh rug woven in the late 19th century. Lovely soft indigo blue dyes with purples complimented by an ivory border. In good condition would enhance an entrance or hall. Karabagh is a mountainous region in the south west of Azerbaijan. Their rug designs consisted of striking geometric motifs often depicting birds and animals these are very collectable rugs.
