Early 18th century Chinese lidded blue and white jars made at Jingdezhen during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi for export to Europe 
Painted with an excellent cobalt colour to show sprays of tree peonies above and below shaped panels of blue with a wax resist design of lotus flowers and foliage. the detail in the panels is excellent as resist is a difficult technique
The pattern is repeated around the bottom of the lids with sprays of peonies to the lids
Double circle to the base
excellent decoration and potting
