Chinese early 18th century Yen Yen sometimes known as a Phoenix Tail Vase. Made during the reign of the Emperor Kangxi
Painted with excellent colour and decoration to show four scenes from the Romance of the Western Chamber.
Potting of these vases was difficult as they were made in sections and as they were large the vase the transporting became a problem also
Excellent quality and subject matter
