Chinese 17th century brush pot made during the early part of the Emperor Kangxi's reign at Jingdezhen.
The painting has many similarities to the style known as Master of The Rocks showing a mountainous river landscape with trees dotted around the landscape and in the foreground. The painting also shows a lone fisherman going to an empty pagoda on a promontory.
Excellent colour and shape with the everted rim and waisted shaped sides
The base is painted with a double circle around the Lingzhi mark - Magic Mushroom
