A joined oak and marquetry inlaid coffer, Yorkshire, circa 1640-60.

Having a triple-panelled lid and three front panels each inlaid with tulips on a small mound, beneath a guilloche floral-filled carved top rail, broad flat run-moulded rails and twin-panelled sides.
