John Morley English single manual harpsichord after Culliford in mahogany with burr facia on a trestle stand with traditional brass strap hinges, hooks & handstops, wooden jacks and delrin plectra. (P)
2 x 8', 1 x 4' + buff.  5 octave F to F No.3166 circa 2005.
Made in London, England.

Thomas Culliford was a London based spinet, harpsichord and pianoforte maker in the second half of the 18th century, he worked with Hitchcock, Rolfe and Barrow and supplied instruments to Longman & Brodrip.

Our instrument was inspired by a Culliford single manual harpsichord which we restored in the 1960's. This instrument has a superb full rich tone which is a pleasure to hear.
