For sale is this really stunning Jessie King gold necklace set with strongly coloured yellow orange citrines, surronded by petal enamels.   In excellent condition and obscurely marked for 9 carat gold, L&Co mark.  This is model 9109 in the Liberty jewellery sketch book in the Westminster Archives.  The sketch in that book, unusually, shows the stones to be faceted as for this piece.  This rare necklace design is also held by National Museums Scotland set with moonstones and blue enamel (Accession number A.1986.31).

Jessie Marion King (1873-1949) is a famous Glasgow school artist, illustrator and designer.  She worked for Liberty & Co from c 1904-6 and was responsible for many of their later Cymric range jewellery designs
