A late 19th century bronze sculpture depicting Jeanne d'Arc. A stunning early salon version of the famous Joan of Arc in the Place des Pyramides in Paris. Wonderful rich brown patina and stunning hand chased detail and characterisation. Set on an integral, naturalistic plinth. Signed E Fremiet to base.
Artist: Emmanuel Fremiet (1824-1910).
