A very Fine Small bowl raised upon four spheres with square base plate of Bold Moderniste Design.

Jean Despres used Pewter for his early creations, although a humble material it is perfectly suited to the aesthetic of the severe Moderniste forms he was designing and its subtle but striking hue add to the purity and impact of the piece.
