A Japanese porcelain dish, made at the Koransha factory, c. 1890. Meiji Period. The chrysanthemum moulded dish, painted in a rich ‘Imari’ pattern, with a central panel of flowering plants. Having a broad border of panels painted with textile motifs. The reverse similarly decorated.
Painted jmark in underglaze blue to the reverse.
Diameter - 27.3 cm, 10 3/4”.
Condition - Typical minor wear to the gilding. Otherwise in perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
