Japanese cloisonné enamel vase decorated with quails and floral motifs, one quail is scratching its head, signed on the silver base with the mark of Tamura III 田村 (Ota Yukio), Showa Period circa 1945.

The quail 鶉 (uzura) is a symbol of the Autumn season, courage and victory in battle.
