A handsome Irish George II mahogany side table; the frieze drawer with ovolo mouldings retains its original brass handles; raised on cabriole legs which are acanthus carved to the knee and terminate in claw and ball feet.
This table is particularly attractive with the elegant ogee arch shaping to the frieze and the bold carving to the knee and feet. Amazingly the table is in almost untouched condition; the table retains its original brass handles and the mahogany has a wonderful colour and patination.
Circa 1745.
