An imposing lime wood relief of the Nativity.

Measures 58 x 50 x 18cm.
This large and deeply carved relief depicts the new born Christ child nestled within the mantle of the praying, kneeling Madonna, to her side are two praying angels and beside them, a kneeling Saint Joseph.
Donkey’s gaze across the scene from within their barn and in the distance, a shepherd can be seen with his flock following the star to accompany the worshippers.
