An important Art Deco sapphire and diamond bracelet, the three sugarloaf sapphires estimated to weigh 20 carats in total, accompanied by GCS report stating to be of Sri Lankan origin with no indication of heating, rub-over set to openwork mount of geometric design encrusted with calibre-cut sapphires and old-cut diamonds, the diamonds estimated to weigh 24 carats in total, all set in platinum, with hidden snap clasp, engraved with inventory number 6907, circa 1920, approximate total length 18cm, gross weight 50 grams. An Art Deco sapphire and diamond bracelet in very good condition. Unmarked tested as platinum.

An exceptional and important bracelet. This bracelet is a masterpiece of Art Deco design: simple, geometric forms weaved together with platinum and an exceptional quantity of diamonds and sapphires. The three large sugarloaf cabochon sapphires have an exceptional softness and luminosity. The surrounding sapphires are of wonderful quality, cut in the calibre-cut popular during the Jazz Age, when this bracelet was made. An impressive combined 24 carats of diamonds glitter and twinkle, making this bracelet both hypotonic and dramatic.
