An Imari Lamp.

Japan, circa 1880.

A superb large  late 19th century Japanese vase of rare hexagonal form, decorated throughout in the typical Imari palette of iron reds and blue on white background, with wonderfull gilded highlights throughout.

Height of vase: 17 3/8 in (44 cm) including giltwood base, excluding electrical fitments and lampshade.

All our lamps can be wired for use worldwide. A selection of card, linen and silk lampshades can be supplied on request.
