Antler-handled horse measure cane with spirit level
A good example of a horse measure walking cane with an L-shaped stag antler handle.
The blonde bamboo shaft with a pull-out drawer revealing a fine boxwood rule to measure a horses' height in hands (a unit of 10.2 cm / 4in) - the rule stamped "Made In England" - and a hinged drop-down brass spirit level to ensure accuracy.
The shaft is finished with a brass ferrule.
