Heuer Camaro in a steel case with manual wind movement. Silver-coloured dial with second and minute recording. Dated circa 1970. Camaros had a confined production run and were only produced from 1968 to 1972.

In the 1960s, a new trend hit the motor industry in the US called "Muscle Cars," and the idea was to put powerful, high-displacement engines in midsize cars. These cars were enormously successful, and Chevrolet reacted quickly and developed the Camaro for this new segment of the market.
From 1967 to 1969, the Chevrolet Camaro was elected the Indianapolis 500 pace car. In line with its association with the motorsport industry and car racing, Heuer named their new chronograph "Camaro".
