An extremely rare set of eighteenth century old English pattern dessert forks made in London in 1783 by Hester Bateman. Each of the forks bears the same family crest of an Elephant and Castle and they are in good condition.Hester Bateman forks are rare unlike spoons by her workshop and dessert forks are even rarer than her table forks. It would be extremely difficult to find such a set again.
