Happy Dog Walking Stick.
A late Victorian walking stick formed from sections of organic material, perhaps horn, threaded onto an iron rod and then carved to a writhen, tapering form; the handle, again carved from horn, into a smiling dog's head with metal eyes and a red-painted smile. The condition near mint, retaining the original linen sleeve. European, circa 1890. 36.75 inches long
