Guri Lacquer Smoking Ensemble, by Mitsumine Senshi.

Comprising a senryuzutsu pipe holder and tonkotsu, both elements finished with multiple thick layers of differently coloured lacquer and then carved with numerousous masks, revealing the lacquers beneath.  The base of the tonkotsu is boldly carved with a two character seal.

Both parts signed, the pipe case mitsumine senshi, the container mutsumine, both followed by a kaō.

The pipe case 21 cm long, the tonkotsu 8 cm wide.

Guri lacquer ojime.
