Worked mainly in tent stitch using coloured silks on linen canvas, designed with Father Time holding an hour glass, flanked by Truth (Justice) holding scales and Victory (Fame) holding a palm frond, beneath a verse 'TIME. ?. TO, IN(?). ?. TO. ?. PATIENCE', together with numerous animals, birds, insects, flowers and a small building, framed and glazed, dimensions include frame.
