A late 19th Century American lever in a gold full hunter case with box hinges. Damascened nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel, screwed in jewelling. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.
Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Decorative 14 carat full hunter case, flat engine turned covers engraved with foliage and a bird, the front with a vacant shield shaped cartouche. Plain middle, engraved box hinges and shaped support for the pendant, maker's mark "C.W.Mfg.Co". Gold cuvette with engraved dedication.
