An early 19th century end supported rosewood veneered free-standing library table with out-swept legs. The upper section having an inset leather lined writing area. Two frieze drawers, one of which is stamped 'Gillows - Lancaster'. Raised on fine brass castors, the carved wooden knob handles on the two drawers, and locks with key, are all original. English circa 1815.
