Georgian Pearl and Crystal Locket Memorial Ring circa 1800.
A fabulous Georgian pearl memorial ring.
This beautiful ring has 14 natural half pearls in a cut-down setting surrounding a small crystal locket centre. The ring has a closed back typical of the Georgian period and is in wonderful condition it is very low set to the hand. The locket section has a silk lining and would have been intended for a lock of hair.
The ring has elegant bifurcated shoulders with a reeded design onto a fancy tapered shank. There is a wonderful engraving of the letters A G to the reverse.
Era: Georgian, 1714 - 1837.
Measurements: The head of the ring is 10 mm in width.
Ring Size: O 1/2 (UK) 7 3/4 (US) 55 1/2 (EUR) This ring cannot be resized.
Hallmarks: Engraved AG to the reverse, tested as 18ct gold.
