A rare George II period oak coffer on stand; the lift-up lid above a fielded panel front crossbanded in walnut and with quarter columns inset into the corners.

The stand with three drawers which have ovolo mouldings and are crossbanded in walnut; raised on the original cabriole legs terminate in chamfered pad feet.

Retaining its original brass solid backplate handles and escutcheons and a superb colour and patination.
