Georgian Mahogany Dining Table.
A Late Georgian Regency period extending dining table after the designs of Wilkinson of London.
The figured mahogany dining table retains the original brass clips and the three solid mahogany leaves. The scissor action to the dining table means that the table can retract and expand depending on the number of diners. The table collapses down to one 'D' end section and three leaves. The beautiful figured top with a twin reeded edge above a mahogany veneered frieze. The table action is of high quality with the superstructure being made in solid maple and raised on crisply turned, reeded and tapered legs that terminate on capped gilt brass castors.
The table will seat 8 comfortably and 10 informally.
