Early 19th century Georgian mahogany bowfront chest of drawers.
A highly figured mahogany top retains an old finish and possibly the original colour above a bow front edge inlaid with a boxwood line. The detail is carried through to the figured sides. The four full length graduated oak lined drawers with a mahogany cockbeaded fronts retain the original brass locks and gilt cast brass handles. The chest is well drawn with a desirable scale and is raised on elegant splayed bracket feet below a cross banded mahogany veneered apron.
