A George III Chippendale period mahogany armchair; the scrolling top rail carved with a central acanthus leaf above a pierced splat and bold outscrolling arms. The armchair has an upholstered drop-in seat and is raised on square moulded legs which are carved with a bead and real moulding to the front and are united by an H-stretcher.
This Chippendale armchair retains an excellent colour and patination and is the perfect size for use as a desk chair.
