18th Century gold-topped malacca cane
A fine example of an 18th Century gold-topped walking cane.
With an elegant, reeded, knop-shaped handle with a monogrammed top and rope-edged bottom - the rim of the handle is stamped twice with a maker's mark for "JJL".
The tall, mid-brown malacca shaft has an engraved gold eyelet and is finished with a typical long brass ferrule.
