A Superb Example of Pure Luxury in the Late Eighteenth Century . An English Mahogany Butlers Wine and Decanter Trolley of First Rate Elegant Design and Quality Suggesting a Maker of Renown.
Polite suggestion: Would make a perfect and unusual end- lamp table.
The Timber and Design surely suggest Gillows of Lancaster and London , and most probably a special commission , which was quite the norm at that time This design is made more elegant having one end bowed , unlike the usual square ended plate carrier with a fixed handle and castors.
