Georgian 18th Century Bowfront Side Cupboard.

A Very Good Quality Late 18th Century George III Period Mahogany Bowfronted Side Cupboard, Of Rare Small Proportions, Having Crossbanded Top Over One Drawer And Two Panelled Cupboard Doors With Satinwood Crossbanded Decoration Raised On Elegant Original Splay Feet.

Dating to the late 18th century this is just a really lovely piece of Georgian furniture. It is constructed from well figured mahogany and satinwood timbers, is of lovely small but useful proportions and retains a lovely untouched colour and patina. It also retains its original feet and although the brass ring handles are probably not original to the cupboard they are themselves 18th century handles and work beautifully on the piece.

The perfect size for such a plethora of spaces around the home or office this side cupboard would add real elegance and sophistication to any room it ends up gracing.

There are no structural defects or areas of significant historical damage to speak of, just the expected old marks which have blended into the surface which one would expect to find on an item which is well over 200 years old.

As with all the items we offer for sale it has been inspected and attended to in our workshops by our well trained and highly skilled, specialist antique furniture restorers and it has received a natural wax polish to ensure it is presented for sale in the absolute best possible condition meaning that it ready for immediate placement within the home.
