Delightful set of six sterling silver GEORGE V Small Pistol Handled Knives.
London 1912.
The handles are stamped with a full set of hallmarks near the join with the blades and on the other side with the kings head and lion passant. All the marks are rubbed which makes them somewhat indistinguishable.
The handles end with a very distinctive and attractive art nouveau curve. The blades have a rounded tip and are unmarked.
These knives have enormous charm.
