A George IV Vinaigrette made in Birmingham in 1823 by John Bettridge.
The Vinaigrette is broad rectanguar in form and is engraved on the cover with trellis work designs and stylised foliate motifs around a rectangular cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials.
The base is engraved with a foliate spray and prick dot bands. The interior is finely gilded and the grille is pierced and engraved with pluming scrolls.
