George IV rosewood sofa table.
A diminutive sofa table or side table. The figured rosewood veneers retain a good colour and patination. The flaps are supported on carved solid rosewood lopers and flank two full length mahogany lined drawers.
The figured rosewood drawers to the frieze are made with a fine cockbeading above a tightly carved gadrooned moulding.
The table is finished on the reverse with faux drawers and is raised on a finely tapered, turned and carved pedestal. The pedestal base with a large ring-turned gadrooned moulding above a concave rosewood plinth base raised on turned bun feet.
